As part of its investment, trade, and tourism promotion programme in the Russian Federation, Quang Ninh Province organised a tourism promotion event in Moscow.
In his opening remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi highly appreciated Quang Ninh's proactive efforts to promote tourism in the Russian market, noting that they would help further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Nguyen Chi Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province, introduced the province's outstanding potential and advantages.
During the programme, Quang Ninh tourism enterprises showcased their distinctive tourism products and services, accommodation, resort and entertainment facilities,and travel packages tailored specifically to the Russian market. They also exchanged information and connected with Russian partners to expand business cooperation opportunities.
A highlight of the programme was the signing of eight memoranda of understanding between four Quang Ninh tourism enterprises and two leading Russian tour operators, Fun & Sun and Autlet.
To date, Quang Ninh's investment, trade, and tourism promotion programme in Russia has resulted in the signing of 20 memoranda of understanding between tourism enterprises and travel companies.
