On August 23, in Lao Cai Province, the 12th Conference on Economic Corridor Cooperation among Lao Cai, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh of Vietnam and Yunnan of China featured discussions.

Also known as wild pineapple, mountain pineapple or pandanus fruit, the plant belongs to the Pandanaceae family and has the scientific name Pandanus tectorius Sol. Growing naturally for many years, it has become a distinctive forest product of the island.
The Miss World 2026 opening ceremony, themed “Welcome Miss World to Quang Ninh – Vietnam”, took place on the evening of August 12 at Halong Marina Beach Square in Bai Chay Ward, drawing around 10,000 delegates, local residents and visitors.
