Increasing numbers of international visitors are travelling to Yen Tu not only to make a pilgrimage but also to experience its natural landscapes, cultural heritage and spiritual and contemplative atmosphere. The “Yen Tu - Meditative Autumn Colours” event series, running from August through the end of the year, is expected to add fresh appeal to the autumn-winter tourism season.
Building on its rich heritage values, Yen Tu is gradually developing more distinctive tourism products by combining its heritage sites, landscapes and Zen traditions with resort stays, wellness services and cultural experiences. A key new initiative is the “Yen Tu - Meditative Autumn Colours” programme, taking place from August through the end of the year. The programme aims to help transform Yen Tu from a destination primarily associated with the traditional festival season into a year-round destination. Since the beginning of the year, Yen Tu has welcomed approximately 1.7 million visitors. During this year's autumn-winter season, Yen Tu aims to attract an additional 1 million visitors, while developing new products designed to extend visitors' stays and encourage higher tourism spending.
