Building on their scenic landscapes, distinctive cultural heritage and local resources, localities across Quang Ninh are diversifying their tourism offerings to raise residents’ incomes.

To attract more visitors during the low season, the Co To Tourism Association, in coordination with local businesses, has launched an autumn-winter tourism promotion programme for 2026-2027.

After the lively summer season, Co To enters autumn and winter with a more peaceful charm, offering rich experiences for visitors. 

To celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day, the “Marina Fireworks Party – Honouring the Beauty of Vietnamese Women” was held at Ha Long International Cruise Port in Bai Chay Ward.

A series of events under the 2026 Luc Hon Golden Season Festival will take place from October 17 through the end of the year. 

On October 13, Ha Long International Cruise Port welcomed the Dream Cruise, carrying more than 2,300 Chinese tourists to Quang Ninh for sightseeing and local experiences.

Tourism, trade and service activities in Bai Chay Ward maintained their growth momentum in the first nine months of 2026, generating budget revenue and attracting investment. 

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, continues to gain international exposure through Routard, a renowned French travel guidebook brand.

Some destinations are at their most beautiful in a particular season. Others reveal a different charm with each changing season. Quang Ninh perhaps belongs to the latter.

Marrying mariculture, community culture, and pristine nature, Van Don has created new revenue streams and expanding local value chains, paving the way for sustainable, in-depth tourism growth.

Alongside established destinations, Van Don is exploring ways to turn local cultural values and livelihoods into distinctive tourism products.

Once heavily dependent on the summer tourism season, Quang Ninh is now working to establish itself as a “four-season destination” on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region.

Increasing numbers of international visitors are travelling to Yen Tu not only to make a pilgrimage but also to experience its natural landscapes, cultural heritage and spiritual and contemplative atmosphere. The “Yen Tu - Meditative Autumn Colours” event series, running from August through the end of the year, is expected to add fresh appeal to the autumn-winter tourism season.
