On October 17 and 18, Vietravel’s Hanoi and Quang Ninh branches coordinated with the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association to organise a self-drive caravan journey combining charity activities with tourism experiences in Hoanh Mo.
A highlight of the journey was the “Accompanying Students to School” programme at Hoanh Mo Secondary and High School. The organisers presented 257 sets of ao dai to female students and teachers, handed over a water filtration system and awarded five scholarships worth a total of VND 5 million. The gifts contributed to improving living and learning conditions while encouraging female students and teachers to preserve the beauty of Vietnam’s traditional dress.
Alongside the charity activities, the delegation surveyed and experienced several destinations in Binh Lieu, including the border route, the “dinosaur spine” trekking trail and hills covered with white reeds at their most beautiful time of the year.
“Accompanying Students to School” continues the “Warm Clothes for Children” series of activities that Vietravel has maintained for more than 10 years. By combining the presentation of practical gifts with exploration of local landscapes, the caravan journey helps spread the spirit of sharing while promoting responsible tourism in Hoanh Mo, Luc Hon and Binh Lieu.
