On August 13, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam Cultural and Scientific Activities Center, in coordination with the Provincial Museum and Library, opened an exhibition entitled “The Special National Relic Site of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam and Quang Ninh’s Tradition of Learning” at the Quang Ninh Museum.
The exhibition features 100 artefacts and photographs presented under two main themes: “The Special National Relic Site of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam” and “Quang Ninh’s Tradition of Learning.” Visitors can explore a traditional examination space featuring candidates’ tents, traditional writing and study implements, calligraphy by scholars, woodblock printing, and images of the Quoc Tu Giam symbol printed on do paper. The exhibition also provides an opportunity to strengthen cultural ties between Hanoi and Quang Ninh, contributing to the promotion of cultural heritage values in contemporary life and bringing heritage closer to the public, particularly younger generations. The exhibition will run through September 13, 2026.
