Vietnam's canoeing team wrapped up the 2026 Asian Canoe Sprint Junior and U23 Championships in Kazakhstan with an impressive haul of 14 medals, including four gold medals. Quang Ninh athletes contributed two bronze medals to the national team's overall achievement.
According to the Quang Ninh Sports Training and Competition Centre, Bui Mai Hanh and her teammates won a bronze medal in the women's U23 K2 500m event, finishing behind teams from Kazakhstan and Iran. Bui Mai Hanh and Ly Thi Cam, together with their teammates, also secured a bronze medal in the women's U23 K4 500m event, finishing behind Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
