On October 11, the Quang Ninh Golf Association held the 2026 Quang Ninh Open Golf Tournament at FLC Ha Long Golf Club. The event celebrated the establishment of Quang Ninh City and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13, 2004–October 13, 2026), attracting 144 golfers, including businesspeople and golf enthusiasts from Quang Ninh and many other provinces and cities nationwide.
The 144 participants competed over 18 holes using the System 36 handicap scoring format and were divided into four categories: Group A (handicap 0–15), Group B (16–21), Group C (22–36) and the Women’s Group (0–36). The tournament followed the 2023 Rules of Golf issued by the R&A and the United States Golf Association (USGA), together with rules of FLC Ha Long Golf Club, ensuring fair play and a high standard of competition. Beyond promoting physical fitness and bringing together businesspeople from Quang Ninh and beyond who share a passion for golf, the tournament also provided a platform for networking and fostering business partnership. It also helped showcase Quang Ninh’s tourism potential and strengths, particularly its premium golf tourism offerings, to domestic and international partners and audiences.
