On the morning of November 8, the People’s Committee of Yen Tu Ward launched the preliminary round of the 2026 "Best Presenter of Yen Tu World Heritage Site" contest, attracting 33 contestants. The event aims to promote the historical, cultural and scenic values of Yen Tu, as well as the philosophy of the Truc Lam Zen sect, helping bring the heritage site’s image closer to local residents and visitors.
The contest is part of the 2026 "Yen Tu-Meditative Autumn Colours" programme, held in the lead-up to Viet Nam Culture Day on November 24. In the preliminary round, 33 contestants demonstrated their knowledge, presentation skills and ability to introduce Yen Tu World Heritage Site through a competition segment entitled “Shining with Heritage”. The contest provides an opportunity to identify individuals with strong presentation and heritage promotion abilities, while creating a platform for exchange, practice and the development of communication skills and knowledge of local history and culture. It also aims to build a team of heritage ambassadors to promote Yen Tu and bring its heritage values closer to the community and domestic and international visitors.
