Alongside the main competitions, the event features a chess exchange between Vietnamese and Chinese players, human chess performances and activities showcasing the distinctive features of traditional chess. Staging the tournament amid Yen Tu’s heritage landscape is expected to diversify cultural and sporting activities, offer visitors new experiences, promote Yen Tu’s image and enhance its appeal as a heritage tourism destination.
