Vietnam-China friendship singing exchange 2026

The artistic exchange programme “Vietnam-China Friendship Singing Exchange 2026” took place on the evening of October 30 at the Voice of Vietnam Theatre, bringing together artists from Viet Nam, China and Hong Kong (China).

The programme featured a variety of performances, including solo singing, choir performances and traditional instrumental ensembles. With its diverse musical repertoire, it took audiences on a journey through different moods and styles, from folk songs reflecting Vietnamese and Chinese musical traditions to sweet, romantic duets. The performances offered audiences an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of music and the cultural connections between the two countries.

Notably, singer and Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, a native of Quang Ninh, took part in the programme for the second time. On this occasion, he performed "Mua Thu Cho Em" (Autumn for you) by composer Ngo Thuy Mien and "Ha Noi Dem Tro Gio" (Hanoi on a windy autumn night) by composer Trong Dai, evoking the beauty of autumn in Viet Nam.

Through the universal appeal of music and the participation of artists from Viet Nam, China and Hong Kong (China), the programme offered audiences a memorable artistic experience while helping to foster mutual understanding, strengthen friendship and promote cultural exchanges between Viet Nam and China.
