On September 23, in Mong Cai 1 Ward, Quang Ninh City, a delegation from the Dongxing City Education Bureau, together with officials, teachers and students from Dongxing Overseas Chinese School in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, attended the cultural exchange programme themed “Friendship Mid-Autumn Festival – Strengthening Bonds” with the education sector of Mong Cai 1 Ward, Quang Ninh City, Vietnam.
The “Friendship Mid-Autumn Festival – Strengthening Bonds” cultural exchange programme was a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, featuring a wide range of cultural and hands-on activities, including gift-giving, arts performances, decorating star-shaped lanterns and creating traditional Mid-Autumn fruit trays.
The activities created a joyful and warm atmosphere while strengthening the ties between teachers and students of Dao Phuc Loc Primary School in Mong Cai 1 Ward, Quang Ninh City, Vietnam, and their counterparts from Dongxing Overseas Chinese School in China.
Vietnam and China are friendly neighbouring countries with a longlasting tradition of solidarity and close ties. Mong Cai and Dongxing are not only geographically close but also closely connected through people-to-people ties. The two sides continue to promote friendship and people-to-people exchanges, particularly in culture, education and youth affairs.
