On the morning of November 7, the Ha Long Viet Nam-Cambodia Friendship Association in Quang Ninh City held a conference to review its activities in 2026 and outline tasks for 2027.
In 2026, the association has continued to play an active role in people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to stronger solidarity and friendship between Viet Nam and Cambodia. Activities to raise awareness, promote the traditional friendship between the two countries and support members’ livelihoods have been maintained. Association members have also actively engaged in economic development, local emulation movements and social welfare activities.
In 2027, the association will focus on stepping up friendship exchanges and strengthening ties with organisations and individuals who have close connections with Cambodia, thereby helping foster the traditional friendship between the peoples of the two countries. On this occasion, the association admitted 26 new members.
