On the morning of September 14, in Quang Ninh City, the ASEAN Steering Committee for Capacity Building (SCCB) held a meeting to support financial integration.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and updating progress in the implementation of capacity-building activities to support the ASEAN financial integration process. They also reviewed capacity-building programmes for the central banks of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, including demand-driven training courses, experience-sharing activities, and study and research programmes among ASEAN central banks.
Delegates also shared updates on the implementation of ADB’s technical assistance and training programmes in 2026, as well as training programmes organised by the South East Asian Central Banks Research and Training Centre (SEACEN).
On the same day, the 11th meeting of the Task Force of the ASEAN High-Level Committee on Financial Integration on Sustainable Finance was also held. The meeting focused on discussing and updating progress in implementing ASEAN’s key sustainable finance initiatives, the ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance, and steps under the project to reform the ASEAN financial cooperation mechanism.
