To promote the outstanding values of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac World Cultural Heritage site, Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG), in coordination with Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television and Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television, launched the 2026 Photo and video contest entitled "Impressions of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Heritage". The contest is held under the professional patronage of the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists.
The contest aims to showcase the natural beauty, cultural heritage, people and community life associated with the heritage area, while raising public awareness and fostering a sense of pride and responsibility among local communities for preserving and promoting heritage values.
It also provides a creative platform for journalists, reporters, photographers, artists, content creators and the wider public to present fresh perspectives, meaningful stories and memorable moments related to the heritage through photography and video.
Entries must have been created from 2026 to September 30, 2027, and must not have previously won awards at any contests, festivals or award programmes. Through the contest, the Organising Committee hopes to inspire creativity and encourage public participation in promoting the heritage. It also aims to strengthen links among localities associated with the heritage, promote distinctive cultural values, and raise community awareness of and responsibility for preserving and promoting heritage in tandem with sustainable development.
