Unitiled "Yellow season in the highland of Dai Duc", the first cultural and sports festival of San Chi minority ethnic people is going to be held in Tien Yen district in two days from Oct. 24.
As part of a series of events to stimulate tourism in Quang Ninh province in 2020 and implement the provincial resolution on the construction and development of traditional culture and people, the festival aims to make a significant contribution to preserving and promoting the cultural beauty and long - lasting value of San Chi minority ethinic people in the mountainous district of Tien Yen.
Within the framework of the festival, locals and tourists will have an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the rice harvest season in a large area of yellow terraced fields, directly see the rituals for praying for a fertile crop, participate in a variety of sports activities and folk games.
There will be also a Soong-co singing contest, a show of blowing the leaf horn, a show of traditional outfits and a trade fair showcasing local agricultural products.
"Yellow season in the highland of Dai Duc" festival is expected to be a new and alluring tourist product win winter in Tien Yen district.
