In response to Quang Ninh Province’s emulation movement to successfully achieve sustainable double-digit growth, the tourism sector has proactively revised its growth targets based on the positive momentum recorded in the first half of 2026.
Under the adjusted targets, the province aims to welcome nearly 22.5 million tourist arrivals in 2026, approximately 500,000 more than the original target, while total tourism revenue is expected to exceed VND 68.5 trillion, an increase of more than VND 3 trillion compared to the initial plan. To achieve these goals, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue promoting the organisation of major national and international cultural, artistic and film events, developing new, distinctive and high-quality tourism products, expanding promotion activities in potential international markets... These efforts are expected to make a significant contribution to Quang Ninh’s target of achieving annual GRDP growth of over 13 per cent.
