On June 23, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Thong Nhat Commune for the Hoanh Bo 1 Industrial Cluster project. Prominent among attendants was Quang Ninh’s Party Committee Secretary Quan Minh Cuong.
Hoanh Bo 1 Industrial Cluster will be developed on an area of more than 72 hectares in Thong Nhat Commune, with Long Dai Thang Co., Ltd. serving as the investor. The project has a total investment of over VND 1.4 trillion and includes transport infrastructure, water supply systems, wastewater treatment facilities, power supply networks, telecommunications infrastructure, fire prevention and firefighting systems, and other supporting utilities. The implementation period is expected to be 48 months.
Once completed and put into operation, the industrial cluster will create additional space for industrial production and business activities in Thong Nhat Commune and surrounding areas. It is expected to facilitate the attraction of manufacturing and industrial support service projects in line with the province’s development orientation. At the same time, it will help meet the demand for relocating production facilities from residential areas to concentrated production zones that are safer, more orderly and more environmentally friendly.
