Repeatedly honoured at prestigious domestic and international tourism awards, Quang Ninh is gradually affirming its quality as a destination and its competitiveness on the tourism map.
Dau Rong Resort in Cai Chien island commune was the only resort in Quang Ninh honoured at the VITA Awards 2026, receiving the title of “Leading Tourism Destination Favoured by Young Travellers”. Its combination of accommodation and entertainment, modern experiential spaces and products designed in line with new trends has helped the resort make a strong impression on visitors.
The World Travel Awards 2026 honoured Van Don International Airport and Ha Long International Cruise Port, while the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026 recognised Co To special zone, Legacy Yen Tu – MGallery and Royal Halong Hotel, among others. Quang Ninh’s destinations, resorts and cruise vessels have repeatedly received prestigious domestic and international awards thanks to the province’s orientation towards green and sustainable tourism development and the high quality of its services.
The awards not only recognise individual businesses and destinations but also contribute to enhancing the Quang Ninh tourism brand in domestic and international markets. They also provide a foundation for the province to pursue more in-depth tourism development, attract higher-spending visitors and advance towards high-quality, sustainable tourism.
