An inter-agency inspection team chaired by the Ministry of Construction has recently worked with the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee to assess the province’s current status of urban development as part of the appraisal process for the proposal to recognise Quang Ninh as meeting the criteria for a Class-I urban area.
Following a review, analysis and evaluation of the area in the proposal, Quang Ninh was assessed to satisfy all 15 criteria required for Class-I urban status. The inspection team highly appreciated the province’s remarkable achievements in urban development in recent years and recommended that Quang Ninh continue reviewing, updating and supplementing relevant contents in accordance with regulations to further refine the proposal dossier, ensuring its quality, accuracy and persuasiveness.
