On June 22, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee opened a training course for leadership and management officials from Houaphanh Province of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
The course takes place from June 22 to July 4 at Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School. Thirty-four district-level leaders and managers from Houaphanh Province will study three main areas: Party building and the political system; socio-economic development; and national defence, security and foreign affairs. Participants will also undertake field visits to selected localities, agencies and units across Quang Ninh Province. The programme is one of the activities aimed at implementing the 2022–2026 cooperation memorandum between Quang Ninh and three northern Lao provinces. It also follows up on the results of the meeting between the Secretaries of the Party Committees of Quang Ninh and Houaphanh provinces during the working visit of the Quang Ninh provincial delegation to Houaphanh Province in late 2025.
