The project to build a road connecting Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway to the provincial road No. 338 is expected to have been accomplished by May, 2021, said the Quang Ninh Department of Transport.
Having been launced since October, 2020, the project is going to mark the end of its first phase with the investment capital of about VND 1,500 billion. It covers the intersection point at Km6+700 on Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway and the main route of over 4 kilometers joining the point with the main road of Song Khoai industrial zone located in Quang Yen town.
According to the Department of Transport, the project progress has been ensured and contructors are speeding up all processes so as to complete the first phase of the project on May, 2021.
The project is part of a series of transport ones invested by Quang Ninh province with a view to connecting inter-regional transport system, enhancing the capacity and efficiency of the newly completed Ha Long-Hai Phong and Ha Long-Van Don expressways, and attracting more investors to industrial parks within the Quang Ninh coastal economic zone in particular and Quang Ninh province in general.
