A first-ever winter carnival themed "Brightening up wonders - Spreading the smile of Ha Long" is scheduled to be held at 4pm at the Tuan Chau International Tourism Resort in Ha Long city on January 1.
As planned, the festival will feature the participation of over 1,000 artists, singers, and dancers.
The highlight of the event will be an open-space stage with Ha Long Bay background and over 100 tourist boats due to parade back and forth. In addition, audiences are set to be wowed by performances of helicopters, seaplanes, and paragliders which will take place in the skies overhead.
Locals and tourists will be able to enjoy the chance to witness a wide range of performances and a splendid parade on the theme “ the desire of flying dragons” which showcase the typical cultural and tourism attractions of the province.
The festival is expected to become a special tourist product in winter, making significant contributions to develop the tourism industry in Quang Ninh.
