Relevant authorities and functional forces in Dong Trieu town, a coronavirus hotspot in Vietnam, have carried out drastic measures aiming at early detecting, keeing suspected cases in quarantine and maintaining safe and healthy conditions in the community.
The authorities of Quang Ninh province dispatch 240 medical staff in order to provide further support to Dong Trieu town. Health workers, divided into 64 groups, rush into communal houses and health stations to take samples of all local people in high-risk places including 8 communes, 5 markets and 2 supermarkets.
All of these samples were then tested at the Vietnam - Sweden Hospital based in Uong Bi city.
Previously, all of F1, F2, and F3 cases in this area had been tested for Covid-19. F1 cases have been quarantined in regulated areas in the town.
Every ward and commune has been urged by Dong Trieu authorities to organize locally based goods transaction points to serve consumers’ needs during the occasion of forthcoming Tet as well as timely inform locals of updated information about the epidemic and useful measures to prevent and control the situation.
Dong Trieu town has established 170 Covid-19 control posts including 8 inter-agency posts and 162 posts in villages, zones, communes and wards. All the posts have been mobilizing maximum forces to maintain the highest level of anti-epidemic activities, contributing to controlling the situation and promptly prevent the outbreak of Covid-19 disease.
