To promote investment, trade, and tourism cooperation with the Russian Federation, a delegation from Quang Ninh Province, led by Nguyen Chi Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province, is paying a working visit to Russia from July 5 to 11.
On July 6, the first day of the visit, the Quang Ninh delegation held talks with the Ural Tourism Association, one of Russia's three leading tourism associations, comprising airlines, travel agencies, tourism service providers, and logistics companies.
The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation by promoting investment in tourism, increasing tourist exchanges, and organising familiarization (fam) trips, press trips, and visits by Russian influencers (KOLs) to Quang Ninh. These activities aim to survey the market, promote local destinations and design tour packages tailored to Russian travellers’ preferences.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation attended INNOPROM 2026, Russia's largest international industrial trade and export exhibition, held from July 6 to 9 at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Centre. At the exhibition, Quang Ninh showcased an exhibition booth highlighting the province's investment potential and advantages.
