On July 13, Cam Pha Port Customs, in coordination with relevant authorities at the port, completed import procedures for 13,800 tonnes of construction stone imported by Schenpens Supply Chain Vietnam Co., Ltd. This marks the first time construction stone has been imported through Quang Ninh's seaport system.
The company's first shipment comprised 13,800 tonnes of crushed limestone for construction, transported aboard the Panamanian-flagged vessel ACE GOLD. Imported through Cam Pha Port, the cargo will be used for domestic infrastructure projects. According to the company's plan, around 10 million tonnes of construction stone will be imported through Cam Pha Port by the end of 2026. The imports are expected to contribute approximately VND 350 billion in import-export tax revenue to the state budget while creating a stable source of cargo, boosting logistics, cargo handling, transport services, and contributing to local economic growth.
