The Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board recently worked with the Director of New7Wonders, who came to survey conditions for the organization of the World “New7Wonders Day” international event, scheduled to take place on July 7 in Ha Long Bay.
The event is expected to gather the participation of ambassadors, international organizations, representatives of world wonders networks, and numerous international media agencies. Highlights will include a series of promotional activities featuring images, video clips, and thematic seminars focusing on the conservation and promotion of the values of the World Natural Wonder title, helping to further enhance the image of Ha Long Bay internationally. In 2012, after surpassing more than 400 nominated natural sites from over 200 countries and territories, Ha Long Bay was voted as one of the World’s New Seven Natural Wonders.
