According to Van Don International Airport, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has officially opened ticket sales for its direct air route connecting Van Don Special Zone (Quang Ninh Province) and Ho Chi Minh City.
The new air route is scheduled to be put into operation on June 15, with a frequency of four flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Each flight takes approximately two hours. Under the flight schedule, departures from Tan Son Nhat International Airport are set for 3:30 p.m, arriving at Van Don International Airport at 5:30 p.m. In the return direction, flights from Van Don will depart at 6:10 p.m. and are scheduled to land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 8:30 p.m.
The launch of this direct air route between Quang Ninh province and Ho Chi Minh City is expected to enhance connectivity between two of Vietnam’s major economic and tourism hubs, while meeting the growing travel demand of residents, tourists, and businesses.
