In the first half of 2026, the Party Committee of the Region VIII Customs Sub-department provided effective leadership in fulfilling the sub-department's assigned responsibilities.
The sub-department processed more than 130,500 import-export declarations for 2,790 businesses, with total trade turnover reaching US$23.18 billion. State budget revenue is estimated at VND9.816 trillion. The sub-department also retained its leading position among centrally administered agencies in Quang Ninh in the 2025 SIPAS (Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services) and DDCI (Department and District Competitiveness Index) rankings. In the second half of the year, the sub-department will strive to fulfill its assigned targets and tasks to the highest possible standard, contributing to the overall achievements of the customs sector and Quang Ninh Province.
