Recently, the ultra-luxury superyacht Luminara of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection made a port call at Ha Long International Cruise Port, bringing nearly 600 passengers and crew members to Quang Ninh province. The vessel was accorded a ceremonial welcome featuring lion dances and traditional Vietnamese performances, showcasing local hospitality and the province’s rich cultural heritage to international visitors.
During their stay, guests aboard Luminara explored Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, visited the Quang Ninh Museum and Ha Long Market, and experienced local culture and cuisine.
Luminara is the newest addition to The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, the yacht was officially delivered in June 2025. Measuring approximately 242 meters in length, it features 10 decks and 226 luxury suites, all with private balconies.
The arrival of Luminara not only diversifies the international cruise tourism market in Quang Ninh but also underscores the capacity of Ha Long International Cruise Port to serve the ultra-luxury travel segment. This year, the port is expected to welcome eight calls by Luminara.
