State budget revenue in Quang Ninh reached nearly VND 5.9 trillion in May. Total revenue in the first five months of the year exceeded VND 30.5 trillion, up 25 percent year-on-year.
Domestic revenue reached nearly VND 22.65 trillion, up 32 percent, while revenue from taxes and fees totaled more than VND 19 trillion, an increase of 21 percent. Several major revenue sources maintained strong growth, including foreign-invested enterprises, which recorded a 25 percent increase, and the non-state sector, which grew by 91 percent compared with the same period last year. Revenue from import-export activities reached nearly VND 7.9 trillion, lower than expected due to tax incentives on imported petroleum products.
