On June 23, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee cum Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky had a working session with Mr. Marco Breu, Managing partner of McKinsey & Company Vietnam Ltd. regarding the planning of Quang Ninh province in the period of 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050.
Speaking at the working session, Quang Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Xuan Ky emphasized that Quang Ninh province approved to choose a foreign consulting firm - McKinsey Group to develop Quang Ninh planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050. At the working session, the Steering Committee for Quang Ninh provincial planning and McKinsey Group unanimously agreed to negotiate specific contents in the principle contract and officially implement the planning no later than July 5, 2020. Relevant departments, branches and localities are required to provide information and support the consulting unit during the implementation process.
