Quang Ninh joins the “Walking together with Vietnam” programme

On the morning of August 30, more than 4,500 armed forces personnel, civil servants, public employees, workers, youth union members, association members, pupils, students and local residents participated in the “Walking together with Vietnam” programme at the parking area of Hon Gai Beach in Ha Long Ward. The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Vu Thi Mai Anh, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies and organisations.

With the message “10 billion green steps – For a sustainable Vietnam,” the programme promoted regular physical exercise, green lifestyles and environmental awareness, in response to the campaign “All People exercise gollowing the great example of President Ho Chi Minh.”

The programme was held to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day on September 2, and the traditional days of the People’s Public Security forces and the culture sector, while also celebrating the establishment of Quang Ninh City.
