Quang Ninh City works with Siemens AG and surveys modern railways in Germany

As part of its working visit to Germany, on the afternoon of September 4, the Quang Ninh City delegation, led by Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh City, held a working session with Siemens AG and surveyed Berlin Central Station. The delegation also included Nguyen Van Cong, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee.

Siemens AG is one of Germany’s and Europe’s largest industrial manufacturing companies. Founded in 1847, the company has a long history closely associated with the development of industry and technology in Germany.

During the working session, Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee, spoke highly of the cooperation between Siemens AG and VinSpeed in developing the Hanoi–Quang Ninh high-speed railway.

At Berlin Central Station, the Quang Ninh City delegation learned about and exchanged views on experience in planning and efficiently operating a modern, synchronised railway system connected with seaports, airports, expressways and urban transport networks. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee, expressed his hope that DB E.C.O. Group would continue to cooperate with Quang Ninh City in researching, developing and operating high-speed and urban railway systems, while also connecting them with other modes of transport.
