Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and Cheongju (South Korea) strengthen cooperation

On August 29, Quang Ninh Province and Cheongju City of Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, signed an agreement on friendly cooperation.

Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee,Le Van Anh, and the Mayor of Cheongju City, South Korea, exchange the signed agreement on friendly cooperation between the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and the Cheongju City Government of Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, welcomed Mayor Lee Jang Sub and the Cheongju delegation to Quang Ninh following the National Assembly’s recent adoption of the Resolution on the establishment of Quang Ninh City, saying that the new city opens up new development space and opportunities for the locality.

Under the agreement, the two sides will promote delegation exchanges and friendship activities to enhance mutual understanding, while strengthening cooperation and sharing information and experience in areas of mutual interest, including investment, the economy, culture, sports, tourism, healthcare, education and training, and urban development.

In particular, both sides will work to create a favourable and stable environment for businesses from the two localities to strengthen direct exchanges and practical cooperation.
