As part of its working visit to Germany, the Quang Ninh City delegation, led by Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh City, visited and held a working session with the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany. The delegation also included Nguyen Van Cong, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee.
During the working session, Deputy Secretary Vu Quyet Tien briefed the participants on Quang Ninh City’s socio-economic development in recent years. He expressed his hope that the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany would continue to support Quang Ninh in strengthening connections with German corporations and businesses interested in investing in and expanding their production and business activities in line with the city’s advantages and development orientations, particularly in processing and manufacturing, mechanical engineering, automation, electronics, supporting industries, logistics, technology and green energy.
Congratulating Quang Ninh on its recent establishment as a city, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Dac Thanh said that the Embassy would serve as a bridge to help German businesses visit Quang Ninh and explore investment opportunities.
The Quang Ninh City delegation also met with representatives of the Quang Ninh community living and working in Germany. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Vu Quyet Tien expressed his hope that the community would continue to support the city and help strengthen connections, particularly in promoting Quang Ninh City’s image, potential and strengths.
