On June 25, Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, received and held talks with a delegation from the China's Tibet Autonomous Region, led by Comrade Xu Chengcang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
At the reception, Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of Quang Ninh's socio-economic achievements. He noted that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China have been continually strengthened in recent years, creating favorable conditions for Quang Ninh Province and the Tibet Autonomous Region to further expand cooperation in tourism, cultural exchanges, agriculture, green economic development, medicinal plant development and other areas of mutual interest.
Comrade Xu Chengcang expressed his appreciation for the warm reception extended by Quang Ninh Province. He hoped that both sides would continue to enhance exchanges and cooperation, contributing to deeper, more substantive and effective relations between localities of the two countries.
