On March 25, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Bui Van Khang, received and had a working session with a delegation from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, led by Xu Xianhui, Vice Chairman of the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The two sides exchanged views on measures to further promote cooperation between the two localities.
At the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Bui Van Khang, affirmed that Quang Ninh consistently attaches great importance to strengthening comprehensive, substantive, and effective cooperation with Guangxi. He proposed that the Guangxi side continue to direct relevant agencies, organizations, and enterprises to enhance coordination, with a focus on key areas such as agriculture, trade, tourism, major projects, expanding connectivity through border gates, and developing smart border gate models.
Guangxi’s Vice Chairman Xu Xianhui highly appreciated Quang Ninh’s cooperation proposals and expressed his agreement with the orientations discussed by both sides. He affirmed that Guangxi places great importance on strengthening friendly and substantive cooperation with Quang Ninh and stands ready to promote collaboration in areas where both sides have strong potential and complementary advantages.
