Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital has received the Diamond Award from the World Stroke Organization (WSO).
This is the highest level of the WSO Angels Awards for facilities providing outstanding treatment quality, affirming that the hospital’s capacity in stroke emergency care, prevention and treatment meets international standards. The hospital currently masters a wide range of advanced stroke treatment techniques, including thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, neurovascular intervention and neurosurgery, as well as the application of Rapid artificial intelligence technology in diagnosis, helping extend the treatment “golden window”. In the coming period, the hospital will continue strengthening collaboration with healthcare facilities across the province to develop a coordinated stroke emergency network, improve patients’ chances of survival
