On September 23, Quang Ninh General Hospital held a ceremony to announce the establishment and officially open three specialised centres: the Eye Centre; the Intensive Care, Poisoning Control and Stroke Centre; and the Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology Centre.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Quang Ninh City Department of Health and Quang Ninh General Hospital announced the relevant decisions and handed over appointment decisions for the centres’ leadership and personnel in charge. The centres were established to further strengthen the hospital’s capacity for medical examination and treatment, while gradually bringing high-quality healthcare services closer to residents in Quang Ninh City and the surrounding areas.
The establishment and operation of the specialised centres mark a new development step for Quang Ninh General Hospital in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, helping the hospital strengthen its specialised expertise, master more advanced medical techniques and better meet residents’ growing healthcare needs.
