Ha Long electric vehicle club strengthens its organisation to improve tourism services

On November 6, the Ha Long Electric Vehicle Club held its first congress for the 2026-2030 term to consolidate its organisation, set its operational orientations and strengthen cooperation among electric vehicle businesses operating in the Bai Chay area of Ha Long. These efforts aim to improve service quality and help build a safe, civilised and welcoming tourism environment.

Established in early 2026, the club currently has seven member businesses managing and operating more than 240 electric vehicles. Its members have focused on maintaining vehicle quality, complying with regulations on traffic safety, fares and urban order, and improving drivers’ awareness and service standards. Electric vehicles have also been used to serve cultural and sporting programmes, tourism events and community activities, helping connect destinations and services in the Bai Chay-Ha Long tourism hub.

The organisational consolidation and agreement on operational priorities will provide a foundation for the club to strengthen its role in connecting businesses and developing professional, high-quality electric vehicle services. Beyond meeting transport needs, electric vehicles also have the potential to become a tourism product in their own right, serving as a means of sightseeing and offering visitors opportunities to experience the local area. This will help diversify tourism services and enhance Ha Long’s appeal as a tourist destination.
