On the morning of September 12, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd., organised the programme “AEON Vietnam accompanies and develops together with local businesses and business partners” in Quang Ninh City.
Quang Ninh currently has 358 OCOP products rated three stars or higher. These products are known for their high quality, diverse designs and a wide range of categories, with full traceability and and are trusted by consumers.. In recent years, the city has actively promoted trade activities both at home and abroad.
AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. has invested in the construction of AEON MALL Ha Long, covering a total area of more than 91,000 sq.m. The five-storey shopping centre includes retail areas, a supermarket, a food and beverage zone, an entertainment area for kids and a cinema. AEON MALL Ha Long is expected to open in November 2026.
At the programme, representatives of AEON Vietnam shared information on supplier requirements, quality documentation required for different product categories, mandatory information on product labels and labelling regulations.
The programme served as a practical bridge between AEON Vietnam and the city’s businesses, cooperatives and production establishments, helping them gain a better understanding of AEON’s retail standards, improve their competitiveness and promote product sales.
