On the afternoon of November 6, in Busan, South Korea, a delegation from Quang Ninh City, led by Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee, attended an investment and trade promotion conference with Busan businesses, organised by the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Busan. The event aimed to introduce Quang Ninh’s potential and competitive advantages, while strengthening business connections and expanding opportunities for investment and trade cooperation.
At the conference, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Le Van Anh introduced Quang Ninh’s key advantages, including its geographical location, transport infrastructure, seaports, international airport and international border gates, as well as its potential for developing industry, trade, logistics, the marine economy and tourism.
In his remarks, Vice Chairman Le Van Anh expressed his hope that Busan businesses would visit Quang Ninh to explore investment opportunities. Building on Busan’s strengths and Quang Ninh’s development orientations, the city seeks to strengthen cooperation in seafood exports and processing, seaports and logistics, trade and market development, and environmental technology. It also aims to promote business networking, experience sharing, technology transfer and the development of integrated supply chains.
Busan businesses spoke highly of Quang Ninh’s potential, advantages and development orientations, while expressing their desire to visit the city soon to explore its investment environment and identify opportunities for cooperation and investment in the future.
Earlier, the Quang Ninh City delegation held a working session with the Busan Metropolitan Council, arranged through the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Busan, to learn from Busan’s development experience and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two localities.
