On August 20, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Vu Quyet Tien received Chairman of the Communist Party of the Czech Republic Roman Roun, during his working visit to Quang Ninh.
Welcoming the Czech delegation, Deputy Secretary Vu Quyet Tien expressed his belief that the visit would strengthen mutual understanding, trust and friendship between the Parties, States and peoples of Vietnam and the Czech Republic. He also expressed his hope that this visit would foster practical cooperation between Quang Ninh and Czech localities and partners, particularly in tourism, processing and manufacturing, science and technology, education and training, healthcare, trade and investment, and the green economy.
In response, Chairman Roman Roun highly appreciated the development achievements of Vietnam and Quang Ninh. He affirmed the Communist Party of the Czech Republic’s commitment to further strengthen traditional friendship and cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam, thereby contributing to promoting multifaceted local-to-local partnership, including those with Quang Ninh.
