From August 28 to September 2, Quang Ninh will organise a special art programme and a series of attractive events to celebrate the establishment of Quang Ninh City and mark the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2026) and Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945–2026).
The special art programme is scheduled to begin at 8:10 p.m. on August 28 at the Oct. 30 Square and Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road in Ha Long and Hong Gai wards, under the theme "Quang Ninh – A City Shining into the Future.” Around 100,000 delegates, local residents and visitors are expected to attend the event. The programme will also be broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV), Quang Ninh Media Group and digital platforms. Admission to the programme will be free for residents and visitors. The approximately 120-minute programme will combine high- and low-altitude fireworks, a drone light show and a range of modern technological effects, creating a spectacular highlight for the celebrations. A series of LED screens and a synchronised sound system are also expected to be installed along both sides of Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road and around Oct.30 Square, complementing the main stage.
