The recognition by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) marks a significant step in local biodiversity conservation and heritage promotion. In accordance with the recognition process, VACNE will issue the official decision, certificates of recognition and a standard stone marker design, enabling the Duong Hoa Commune People's Committee to organize an official recognition ceremony. With the addition of these two trees, Quang Ninh is now home to 318 Heritage Trees of Vietnam officially recognized by VACNE.
