Cruise ships operating in Ha Long Bay are increasingly gaining international recognition for their quality. Recently, Grand Pioneers Halong Bay Cruise has won four international awards.
At the World Luxury Travel Awards, Grand Pioneers Halong Bay Cruise received two titles: Asia’s Best Bespoke Cruise Experience and Asia’s Best Luxury Cruise. At the World Cruise Awards, it also secured two titles: World’s Best Green Cruise Line and Asia’s Best Cruise Line. This marks the third consecutive year that the cruise brand has been recognised at the World Cruise Awards.
The awards recognise the cruise line’s efforts to develop premium leisure cruises while pursuing sustainable development and protecting the marine environment. The vessel has adopted a range of solutions, including a seawater cooling system, low-emission engines and wastewater treatment technology. These measures are designed to improve resource efficiency and minimise the impact on the marine environment.
The cruise line’s continued international recognition reflects Quang Ninh’s strategic direction in developing high-end tourism products. It also provides a foundation for the tourism sector to further diversify its offerings, attract higher-spending visitors and enhance the destination’s competitiveness.
