Since the beginning of this year, Quang Ninh has been selected as the venue for 10 lavish weddings organised by wealthy Indian families.
Beyond wedding receptions at luxury hotels and resorts, many activities have been held aboard cruise ships and at tourist attractions. In the first 10 months of the year, Quang Ninh welcomed around 70,000 Indian visitor arrivals. India is now one of Quang Ninh’s key international source markets, offering significant potential for the development of high-end tourism products, including wedding and event tourism.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh is expected to host three more weddings organised by Indian billionaire families by the end of the year, each with more than 1,000 guests.
