With a dedicated international cruise port and diverse tourism resources, Quang Ninh is actively expanding cooperation with cruise lines and international tour operators.
The cruise tourism market continues to grow in scale this year, with an increasing number of cruise lines deploying larger ships on itineraries that include calls at Ha Long International Cruise Port. To tap into this market, tour operators are developing tailored excursions that combine visits to natural attractions, cultural sites and heritage destinations with local culinary experiences and shopping.
In 2026, Quang Ninh expects to welcome around 70 international cruise ship calls, bringing approximately 100,000 passenger visits. Cruise tourism make an important contribution to the city’s international visitor growth target and while boosting local tourism and service activities.
