The opening ceremony of the Song Co Golden Season Festival 2026 took place on the morning of November 1 at the San Chi Ethnic Cultural Centre in Dai Duc Hamlet, Dong Ngu Commune. The festival is a distinctive cultural and tourism event with the aim of honouring the cultural identity of the San Chi people, showcasing the beauty of the golden harvest season in the highlands and attracting visitors to the area.
The ceremony opened with music and dance performances, followed by an artistic programme entitled “Rhythms of the Golden Season”, which recreated the cultural traditions and daily life of the San Chi community. Highlights included Soong Co folk singing, Tac Xinh dance, prayers for a bountiful harvest and dances celebrating a successful harvest, bringing the distinctive cultural atmosphere of the highlands to life.
